#1 Clock Tower 2 Fan rates this game: 5/5
Clock Tower 2 is the sequel to the controversial real-time clock tower simulator, Clock Tower 1. Following in the footsteps of classic educational games such as Mario Teaches Typing, Mario's Time Machine, and Mario's Early Years, Bowser is the protaganist. The main challenge in this game comes from trying to align the clock hands to the proper time representation. For example, if the game tells you to simulate 2:30 PM you have to put the hour hand on 2 and the minute hand on 6, and if the game tells you to simulate 2:30 AM you have to put the hour hand on 2 and the minute hand on 6. This new style of gameplay was critically acclaimed at first for being so fluid, riveting, and cinematic; but then the game became too popular so reviewers had to hate it. Popular things aren't cool, that's why to be liked by everybody you have to be underground. Like Sonic Underground, that show was so great, especially the scenes with Miles "Tails" Prower the Fox. There are a large variety of glitches within Clock Tower 2. For example, if you move the clock hands too fast backwards or forwards the game will accidentally simulate time travel. When this occurs the player will be sucked into the T.V. (an obvious reference to Cheetahmen 2), transported to a different time era, and will get their own sitcom that will replace Alex Mack's time slot. Another glitch is found in the last level, which requires you to set the clock to 13 PM. So if you are living in Europe the game is literally unbeatable due to the metric system. The game also suffered from numerous manufacturing defects. The CD it came on has a hole in the middle, and according to the developer (Hudson) that missing part is where all the graphics were. That's why you have to play this game on a PS1 instead of a PS2. Meet Marcell Toing, the owner of restaurant, Rat-tat-toing. To get the high-score, you must find the freshest ingredients.
